I have come to confess my sins...

For lunch I ate a billot log and a bowl full of corn chips.

There is a good chance that I will finish my lunch off with something from the same food category...

But I did my 50 minute run scheduled for today! Laughing

<3 Billot log...

What's a billot log?  The name doesn't sound appetizing at all.

I finally weighed myself this morning and after being too busy last night for dinner I'm back down to the weight I was before my over-indulgent holiday weekend.  Of course, I stood up quickly a bit ago and almost fainted, so there's that drawback to skipping meals.  I'll have to eat & hydrate well today for tomorrow's race, possibly 2 races even.

I am facing the fact (with great sadness) that sugar and alcohol are my saboteurs -- I'm going w/o for December.  Feels like my Catholic school days when I always gave up sugar for Lent, or at least tried to.

Billot log is like a rolled twinkie with coconut and some kind of jelly stuff.

I don't think we can get those in Denver so I am safe from the temptation.  I can PM any of you Canadians my address though!

"Technically" I gave up sugar and processed stuff on Monday, but last night I was at a business mixer...I had a red velvet cupcake and 2 pieces of fudge.  I'm proud to say that I opted to have them, rather then felt the NEED to have these treats.  I feel no guilt and I'm back on the wagon today.

KOM - 2010-12-02 2:03 PM I am getting grumpy about this weight thing. I have been pretty consistent on cutting back on snacks and food in general. I am frequently hungry.  I have been cleared to start exercising again and have been getting in something everyday. Usually at least an hour of strength or S/B/R.  I "gained" 1.5 lbs when I switched scales and it just keeps going up or down the same 1-2 lbs.  Never down to stay down. And never down for a net loss.  Seems very disillusioning.

Sorry, to rant on but you all understand. Rant off.

You shouldn't be frequently hungry... Are you counting how many calories you're consuming per day? Try eating frequently though the day, for example cut a little food off of lunch or dinner and have snacks in between each of the three bigger meals. What quality of food are you eating? If you're eating a lot of simple sugars only you will feel hungry - choose items that have protein, fiber, and healthy fat to keep you feeling full longer.
I think I have all these covered. I have been logging all my food on my blog. Feel free to comment if you see anything that I might change.

Made yesterday a walk day for the run challenge, hammies are a bit tight.  In just under 2 weeks from finsihing IMAZ, I can't complain about that.  Back to running again today.

I just checked your weight... how tall are you? You seem to have a low weight (not taking height into account) and that could be why you're having so much trobule. The body doesn't like to give up fat when there isn't much to give.

I think I may have shrunk some in the past few years.  Height is now maybe 5'4" or 5'4&1/2".  I would like to hit the 120s...any number in there and stay there!

Your body mass index (BMI) is within the normal range, so you will experience some difficulty getting your weight down further, but it's not impossible. Keep checking the cals in this month and adjust your activity level slightly each week to try and see if you can get a downward trend to kick in. I wouldn't want to eat much less according to your posted calories.
