Weather forecast is holding strong for Sunday:

Something between 69 - 73 high, 51-54 low

Water temps at Tempe Town Lake are also stable, at 62 degrees a few minutes ago.

Considering air temps should be mid to high 70's today, we might have 63-65 degree water temps for tomorrow's practice swim, and if the air temps hold tomorrow, we could see 63-65 degree water temps for race morning.

Ran the 8.5 mile run course yesterday and it is a good course. One decent hill, not steep just long that you have to work for. Other than that a bunch of small rolling ones.. The next 2 days are going to go by very slowly.

Made it!!! Arrived around midnight on Thursday.  Managed to get the bike from Fedex, assemble and do a 1.5 hour shakedown ride.  Did a 15 minute run tonight and my cold feels like it might be going away.   Good Luck to all!

I put it in...  I just put it on in the changing tent...

I'm trying to decide if I want to organize tonight or tomorrow.  Looks like tomorrow, I'm beat.

We rolled in about 1 today and hustled to get checked in so we could get over to the host hotel for our interviews. They were actually pretty fun and both the producer and photographer we hilarious. All 3 of us answered questions about our path to Ironman, struggles we've had to overcome, etc. Then we went out and got filmed messing around with a new Ford Explorer (really nice!) and driving it down to the finish area. We felt goofy as hell, but it was fun. Since I'm solo in my room till tomorrow morning, spent the last few hours getting my bags packed. Tomorow morning were doing the practice swim and a short ride before dropoff. So far so good! Here are two pics of my dad and I being interviewed. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v76/undertheradar/IMAG0199.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v76/undertheradar/2011-11-189515-10-2095906-1.jpg

Well, just organized for the morning and also for the rest of the week.  I figured I might me a little too sore/tired to be trying to sort out things and pack Sunday night or Monday morning.  I hope to pretty much put on clothes Monday morning, hit the breakfast, and roll out.

Time to relax and maybe try to get to sleep early.  I doubt it.  Even last night was restless with anticipation and dreams of s/b/r!

Good luck to everyone tomorrow.  Have a safe race.
