Too bad they don't do it again with the techy stuff available. One of the places to visit or put on the Bucket list. |

Extreme Veteran 1112 Las Vegas | Subject: RE: Niagara Falls minus the water I grew up in Niagara Falls, went to college there, and had homes on both the American and Canadian side. I remember this event in person, and it was quite amazing. As a towny, I knew areas where I could stand knee deep just a foot or so from the falls going over the edge and not be in trouble. I do miss Crystal Beach and Loganberry though |

Extreme Veteran 574 Crossville, TN | Subject: RE: Niagara Falls minus the water I have white water rafted the Ocoee River in Southeast Tennessee a couple times. They turn the water off at night and use it to generate power. While rafting the lower Ocoee early one morning, we had to stop and wait for the water to catch up so we didn't end up on dry riverbed. The river looks very strange with no water. |
