Sorry this is last minute, and I hope I'm not repeating a post.  I did a search and only found one in the WI forum.

1-11-11 is a ONE NIGHT ONLY Hood To Coast Documentary showing across the country.  Appearances by Alberto Salazar.  Mary Decker.  Bart Yasso. And others.  Showing this 36 hour slug fest of a relay.  Following 4 teams.

Here is the link.  Find you local cinema showing the movie.

I've got tickets only because a friend who ran it in the first 10 years of it (now celebrating 30th this coming August).  Wouldn't miss it for anything.

Sounds very interesting. Will it be released to the public at some point?
Perhaps someone can bring in their videorecorder and make a bootleg copy? (kidding of course!)

Just got back from watching the movie.  It was really great in my opinion.  They followed 4 teams and the documentary revolved around humor and the human spirit.

It was a very great watch!

Our running/tri group made a night of it. We had 25 for dinner at Macaroni Grill. Then went to the movie together. It was fun. My understanding is that the film will next be released on DVD.

Went to go see it too.

As documentary's go, it was ok.  Too much of what Thunder and Laikaning did seemed staged.  Too staged.

That being said, they were friggen hilarious once it go to race day.

And I loved the knowing wink from the lady from Heart N' Sole when she said her HR never got above 108.  HA!  Don't you mean 180 (even though I think it was 187 on leg 1).  Doesn't she think the doc is going to see the movie!?!

Anyway, the whole thing looks like an absolute blast.  Might have to do it next year.
