Subject: RE: High Altitude TrainingAre you talking about the copper triangle? Hubby did it last year and said it was a blast. However, he trained all summer for it and we live in the mountains at 7200' so he did not have the problem you will face. He is doing it again this year with a friend from Texas who will try and visit several days early to acclimate. I would suggest coming up as early before the race as you can. In the meantime - hills, hills, hills (or even better mountains if available )! This tour is the real deal and will eat you up if not prepared! |
