Walk down to start. Try to weasel my way to the front. Fail. Get stuck behind hundreds of people walking, pushing baby strollers, and/or walking the wrong way(!).

Comments:

As with every year, not stoked on working my way through crowds of walkers for the first half mile. But, felt pretty good considering how tired my legs were. Also, the vogue has been killing me for the last couple of weeks.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Vog. Crowds. Humidity.

Event comments:

Need to figure out a better way to seed runners. Other than that, no complaints. The race raises a ton of money for charity, and it's more of an event than a race anyway.
