Autumn,

We got a cool trophy/plaque kind of deal. It was a nice looking award. You should consider this race next year.

Fantastic. When I saw you on the run you were looking so strong and relaxed I knew you had to be doing well. Winning your age group. Well done!!!

This wasn't a typical race for me, but it was my priority race and, thus, I should have done better here.

I had planned on this being my last race, but a funny thing happened that I didn't expect... This race set me at first place in my age group, but I won't stay there unless I race this weekend in Detroit Lakes at the Castaway Club.

I don't know if I should race or not?

HEy Dave,

You should go for the race, I will also be racing in DL but this will be my longest one, so a nice easy pace to get the feel of it!!! Anyway maybe I will see you there!!!

David-
Wow, what a race! You've got to be feeling ecstatic after turning in a performance like this, especially since it was your 'A' race. Good luck in DL this weekend.

Best regards,
Kevin

Thanks Kevin,

I was ecstatic. I don't know how I put those three events together in one race. I had an excellent taper and everything seemed to work out.

I am a bit aprehensive about doing Castaway, but I will be fine tomorrow morning. The swim is three times longer than any previous tri that I have done, but I think I will manage. The swim has become the most relaxing element of the race for me.

Remind me, do you have any more races planned?
