Subject: Anyone from Barrie?

Hey, just wondering if anyone on here is from Barrie, or near by. I used to live in Oakville and got into tri's then, but moved up here a few years ago and haven't done any since. Anyway, it would be cool to meet some ppl from around the area.

Moved up from Toronto about 6 years ago. First foray into Tri will be this summer. I am signed up for the Barrie Tri right now and will probably be doing some of the Subaru events around the area.

Gday John, I live in Barrie as well. Checked out the Barrie Baydogs Yet?

A great group of triathletes from beginers to 70.3 world qualifiers to Ironmen.

 We have a general meeting coming up in the begining of April.

We have speed workouts for running, TT for the bike when it warms up, Brick workouts, Tranisition clinc/training, and most important of all...a social night- 1st Thursday of each month.

I'm moving to Alliston (just south of Barrie) later this month. I got into Triathlon at the Guelph Lake Tri last year and I'm excited to continue this season.

I was in highschool in Alliston (lived in Wasaga Beach), then moved to Waterloo for my undergrad/masters/phd. 

Still in Waterloo now, but I know Alliston area very well.

 cambull....when you get moved in let me know( PM me )...I live in Alliston and would be more than happy to show you the roads...some great rides around here. I am just getting into Tri's myself this yr.
