I am in. Do you have any specific day in mind?

Weekends I'd be up for it:

4/24 (It's Easter, but my wife works that day so I have no plans)

4/30-4/31

5/14-5/15

5/21-5/22

5/28-5/30

I was considering doing this tri to start the year off with a sprint...question though...will you all be wearing wetsuits for it?  I haven't been out for any OWS and need to badly...the swim killed me last Sept when I did this sprint.  What's the temp of lakes in Ohio...anyone go to East Fork Lake?

I will be at church with my family on Easter,

but Sunday  4/31 looks good to me.

Ooops, make that May 1st.  I put a note on my Calendar, we can work out details later.

This race is the reason I purchased my wetsuit after my first tri-Deer Creek in Sept in '09.  I was so thankfull to have it last year for the race in June.  I, personally would not want to do this race without a wetsuit but I am a cold water wimp.  There are some thick skins out there that would and do, but not me.  Usually cold, and choppy. This race is my nemesis and I vow to do it until I feel comfortable with it!! But I think secretly, deep down inside I love this race because it is where it really started for me.  I'm in for the sprint!

I'm in for the sprint since I'm doing the warrior dash the day before.

I'm in for May 1st, 7th, 8th or May 15th for course work.

I for one will be very glad I have a wet suit.  It's normally windy and there is some rough chop.  The bike course is like NASCAR in that it's a bunch of left turns, straights and wind.

sleeves or sleeveless? what kind of sizes do they have? where to buy?

and finally: what is advantage except being warm?

look at those ladies on the picture background, it seems to me they like what they see.

This looks like fun and could be my first go at this tri thing plus it is close to home.  I have to wait on registration for now because of an early June vacation possibility.   I do hope we can slip the days a little so I can participate.

Is May 1st good for everyone?

I'd rather go earlier than later, in case if I want to revisit the racing route another day.

I cannot do May 7-8, I am going TORSV that weekend. and after that I have only three weekends.

Works for me.  Probably best to meet near the transition area/beach parking lot.  I can go anytime, but typically prefer mornings for weekend workouts.

Morning is good.

We can start anytime between 9 and 10, or anytime.  whatever is more comfortable for everyone

Can you point the transition area on the map? I am not familiar with the area.

Hmmmm.....fish tacos are sounding tasty!  Black beans and cilantro and cabbage and salsa.....crap.  Now I'm hungry.
