Let myself sleep through my 5:00 AM trainer ride. Feeling guilty but need the sleep and trying to get over a cold. Will run 10 K over lunch and make up the ride tonight.

Last 20 min test in the Jorge Winter Cycling plan - legs are screaming at me - but I saw a 15% increase in avg power for 20' over the 15 week plan - so well worth it. 

If the weather cooperates 4.5 mile run tonight.

Master swim in the AM 2750 yds.  Run after work, most likely in the wind, cold, and rain.  I'm looking forward to getting crazy looks from people.  It make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside =)

Under the weather today... stayed home from work, which is very rare for me.  I still went for my planned 40 minute swim, just took it easy and cruised.  Now I'm just relaxing and contemplating a nap.

Good Afternoon all...

Had a very interesting and different brick work-out and transition practice early this morning...4 miles bike from home to the Barn...to warm-up leg....got to the Barn....a super-fast transition...changed shoes....took horses out...one by one....2 to the pastures and 1 one to the round pin....and....they were wondering why I was in rush......LOL...followed for a nice 6 miles run...back to the Barn to work with horses. and again 4 miles bike ride back to home...Nice...!!!!

Wondering why Velo is usually one of the fastest in Transition....Put me 2 portable stalls with horses in Transition during a Race...and...still...I will be a fast transitioner.......LOL

The storms moved off just in time for me to get in a 24 mile bike, followed by a 2 mile run (planned 3, completely ran out of energy after 2... next time I'll try eating sooner than 7 hours prior to attempting a workout like this).  Once that was done I finally was able to cut down the jungle in my yard that was growing thanks to all this rain.

Recovery week, so all shorter times/distances and lower intensity.

35 min treadmill run at 6.5. Abbreviated upper body strength set. 1000 yards swim at a slow, deliberate pace.

I do not like recovery week.

12pm - met my new tri coach for the 3rd time!  40m computrainer ride (my first, not so bad on the legs and lungs but DAMN my girly parts are sore).

1pm - In N Out Burger, to undo all my good work on the bike

1:30pm - Hit the climbing gym for 30m.  New bouldering problems, hurrah!

2:30 - Took the mutts for a 2 mile hike on the trail.  Windy, cold, slightly snowy, but the dogs enjoyed themselves.
