But, b/c I've been battling an IT band injury, I won't be able to run the whole thing. My goal is to run 5-6 miles of it, then have my husband come and pick me up. It's a bummer b/c I am really excited about the new course! |

Normally I would drive, but the problem is I'm not planning on running the whole thing. I'm coming back from an IT band injury and am only going to run 6-7miles of the 1/2 course. So, my plan was to just have my husband and 2 boys pick me up around mile 7. My husband offered to get up early with my boys and drop me off for the start, but if I could save having to wake up my boys at 5 that would be awesome!! I'll give you some Hammer gels!!
