Buenos Dias!!!

3:30am:  1:48/31 miles on the trainer...legs were tired after yesterdays bike/run!
5:30am:  55 minute run.  Legs still tired.  More of a mental workout today for sure!

Probably head out for an OWS swim today.  With 5 weeks to go I'm going to try to swim 2X week now rather than just once. It's a time cruncher, but I can do it for 5 weeks with my awesome support team!

I forgot to hand out the bunny suckers that I bought for my students at Easter so I think I'll take them today and call them Cinco de Bunny suckers.  I crack myself up.

Corriendo tres millas.  Last light workout before Saturday's race.  Get my race list organized & pick up some supplies at the LBS.

Swam a mile in the pool then beat my goal for time in the 5k pushing my 4 year old.  Did it under 27 minutes.  Today i am going to put 30 miles in on the trainer.

2,000 yards in the pool this AM at the Y. I have swam the last 3 mornings.....whats wrong with me?

Ran 9 miles last evening so I am not sure what, if anything, I will do today after work.

Have a great day all!

60 min run planned after work.  No motivation to do it but last time it was like this I set a PR for this loop

42 minutes pounding the pavement this morning after yesterday's frustrating work night. 30 minutes scheduled for the pool this evening. I'm pretty sure I'll get better in the water at some point in my life, but I still swim like a rock. Oh well, I'll keep pushing and hope it clicks someday.

Oh yeah, this evening includes at least one margarita!

Nailed my 8 mile run this morning. One of my fastest miles ever was at mile 6 (7:59) that's a mile stone for me. Miles 4 and 5 were an average of 8:08. Beautiful morning for a run in Austin!

Training plan calls for a rest day.  May sneak in a bike ride this afternoon.  Still not back at work yet. Pesky tornadoes. Spent some time these  last five days helping  with the clean up.  May go and play on the river.  Sail boat or kayak, depends on what the winds are doing.

I could use a bunny sucker. Anyone wanna volunteer?

No spanking, though. Today, as apropos, was a rest day for me.

Spent the morning practicing getting on and off my bike with my shoes clipped in.  Unfortunately my left calf kept cramping up and I have a race this Sunday.  Not sure what to do???

5 mile run with 3 miles of my planned race pace for my first 13.1 this coming Saturday.  Felt great.  Also, best weather we've had in 6 months today.

Masters swim this morning at the Y, 2150 yards.  A new coach, he did pretty well.  We were joking that we've got break him in.  He did add a 2x250 set at the end for us triathletes!

A little playboating after work on the Might Missi then a ride afterwards with a fellow IMWI training partner.  Then maybe a burrito...

Pura Vida!

I occasionally read these threads and they merely reinforce the fact that I am absolutely not a morning person!

Congrats to the rest of you, though

That you do! Go Vols!

I've driven and visited all over TN. Mainly because I didn't want to be where I was in NC. Also because I had boyfriends in Arkansas and Knoxville. Where are you?

I am about 80 miles or so south of Knoxville, just north of Chattanooga.

My monthly 15K Time Trial tonight.  Mentally preparing myself to face that ever present headwind that is always on the way back.

I hopped on my bike, exited the driveway, and it started to pour. Not to mention 20+ mph winds.  Too chilly to ride in the rain today.
