Subject: RE: How long do your swim suits last??I can't emphasize enough: The trick to getting any suit to last is to RINSE it in regular water right after swimming. Then DO NOT a ) roll it up in your towel or gym bag and leave it there; or b ) put it in the dryer EVER. I rinse the suit in clear water, squeeze the excess out, then spread it out over the seat back in my car, because I don't go home between the swim and work. They dry out quickly in the car without mildewing, and they last me much, much longer than when I fail to follow the above procedure religiously.
I have bought several good, less expensive suits off eBay. I also bought several recently on swimoutlet.com, and paid just $17.95 each. Don't know how long these cheapies will last! |
