Comments:

I was wondering if I should even do this run. I'm still sore and haven't really been training to any extent for a couple weeks.

It shows.

My shoulder started background throbbing about half way through the run and my ribs were not enjoying this at all. Riggin' friggin'...

BUT all that is excuses. I wanted 2:00 and didn't get it. On the other hand I also was not quite as slow as I was on my first HM and I'm not sore at all today after having done this.

What would you do differently?:

Not gotten cut off by a car and sent flying over my handlebars. It's screwed up my whole year so far.

I started swimming again this morning. Shoulder got tired fast. I'm attributing that to lack of swimming for two weeks. This is the first time I've not had open wounds, though, so the first time I've felt comfortable getting into the pool.

It's worlds better than when I first tried to ride and couldn't move my arm far enough to put my own shoes on. Bummer that I was starting to see 1:30 100s in the pool and was able to hold 1:45/100 for a normal HIM distance prior to this. I'll get back there, just not as soon as I would like.
