Pre-race routine:

Set up bikes in Transtition area early. One of first ones to do so. This helps eleviate some anxiety and gave me a great spot for transition.

Warmed up in car since it was a bit cool. Ate Cliff bar and drank water.

Great race, congratulations! I did that race as a relay last year, and that bike was a killer! (I did the swim and the bike, my husband did the run.) I actually had to get off and walk my bike up the last third or so of the biggest hill... I was super glad I didn't have to run after that! Excellent job!
