Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 5:45, breakfast at 6am. Bsgel, fruit, jam and a sip of coffee.
Nothing more fancy.
Event warmup:

Biked to the course for 10min.
Setuped my area, ran for about 10 min and then put the wetsuit on, swam and it was about time.
Swim
  • 19m 6s
  • 750 meters
  • 02m 33s / 100 meters
Comments:

Time trial start: Nice and easy to start, very easy to sight but still have to put more effort in the swim...
What would you do differently?:

Still train for the swim, this is ma lacking point, nothing to do really about it other than train.
Other than that, happy with the sighting.
Transition 1
  • 02m 20s
Comments:

Still got some difficulties to remove the suit on the ankles.
Lost some time with the socks/shoes as well...
What would you do differently?:

I need to practice more on the transition. Removing the suit and be efficient to put the socks/shoes.
Bike
  • 38m 27s
  • 20 kms
  • 31.21 km/hr
Comments:

Coach told me to push on the bike so I pushed...
Did the bike course the day before and was prepared for the one or two hills along the ride.
Pushed and try to stay strong all along the ride.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing really, just need to figured how to setup my speedfill system as it was not really the best location on the handlbar...
Transition 2
  • 01m 12s
Comments:

Nothing to say, riked the bike, and off I went.
What would you do differently?:

I was not really prepared for the gels in the T2 and lost few secs there.
Run
  • 24m 54s
  • 5 kms
  • 04m 59s  min/km
Comments:

Flat run, nice and easy. Pushed all along but felt dizzy on the 3rd k.
Pushed again and was exhausted at the end.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, maybe try to get more gels/fluisd on the bike to feel better on the run.
Post race
Warm down:

Was just exhausted after this race. Lay down on the grass, then stretch and grab my burger :)
Hanged out with family and packed my stuff after.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Nothing really, did what I wanted so was OK :)

Event comments:

Very nice race, very nice location and will do again next year :)
