The 6 Sixes: What women want in a man? (Page 4)

There has only been one road going Porsche that has made over 600hp.  The 2011 911 GT2 RS, and to afford one, I think you might have to meet #1 too .  It's base MSRP is $245,000...  And they only made 500 total.  But then I don't know many women who are fine with riding in a car with a cage.

#1 was a given - they have to make at least what I make 

as to HP, well I was being more figurative - I do like speed....and yeah, I did date a guy for his porsche 911.....

If 6) is related to 2), then he has reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal short legs.

1.  Salary means nothing to me, but ambition is a must.  If they don't have drive and a desire to succeed, I am not interested.

2.  Tall men have always caught my eye, but as long as they are taller than me, I am ok with it.

3.  Don't care even a little bit (although my first car was a restored '69 Mustang coupe with a re-built 351)

4.  Don't care, but if they aren't athletic, I am not interested.

5.  Yes.  This is a must.

6.  As long as they know what to do with it, I am good.

I need a man that is smart, independent, athletic, and funny... the rest is just icing.

Of the real questions. I am 2 of 6 with a chance of 4 of 6 in the future?

I guess I could say I'm 5 out of 6.

    Yes
2) At least six-feet tall.
    Juuuuuuuust made it.  I'm 6', 5'11.75" when I don't do yoga.  ;-)
3) Drives a 600 horsepower car.
    200+242+160=602 if you count all three of my cars together.  (Oddly, the minivan has the most!)
4) Has a six-pack abdomen.
    Uhhhh...  I drank a six-pack and it's in my abdomen?  NOPE.
5) At least six months since his last relationship.
    I guess I qualify since the current relationship is coming on 20 years.
6) At least six inches below the belt.
    Yes

This looks like a list from 1987.  I would think today's list would look more like this...

The H's:

1) Has a job and can pay his bills.
2) Heels:  At least as tall as me with heels on.
3) Has a car he can afford.
4) He's at least as physically fit as me.
5) He's honest in his relationships.
6) He knows how to use it, whatever he's got below or above the belt.
7) He's got good credit.
8) Hysterical laughter - he can bring me to that.  (why do they always forget to include this one?)

after looking at this article not many people and most of these cars would need close to a 7 figure salary.

I like the H list much better than the 6 list.

Personally I want a man who will accept me for who I am, be my partner in all things, makes me smile, laugh, and happy 75% of the time, compassionate, sweet, smart, and romantic. 

The H's:

I find it amazing that several of the women here insist the guy makes as much as they do...

So, you run into a dream guy in every aspect.  Handsom, athletic, charming, funny, caring, communicates...

BUT, makes 15% less than you so you kick him to the curb...

makes 15% less than her...  and is happy to put his job aside to be a "Mr. Mom" house-husband to take care of babies while she continues to work...

Dude - THAT gets a girl's motor running like nothing you could ever believe!  That's actually the ultimate aphrodisiac! 

I've more often run into the opposite problem: men who assume they need to make more money than I do.  Which befuddles me.  (No, I've got that part down, what I need is someone who can relocate spiders and open the big applesauce jars.)  But knowing that a woman makes more money than they do causes a lot of men to back away slowly.  Insecurity's a bear.

Like most women here, I'd like to see six months since the last relationship.  But I'd also say that patience and spiritual compatibility top my list.

3 - i did once

4 - yup

5 - not sure when it actually ended so to be safe and honest - nope

6 - yup

All in all I think I am doing not bad... in a couple of months I might be able to get a shallow needy woman after all... just what every man wants... HA
