Some seriously high water here in philly in the wake of the storm, with the rivers cresting at their highest level in a long long time.

Here is a shot of boathouse row about 6 hours after the rain stopped, the docks out along the water are normally about 10 feet BELOW the boatbay doors:

Is that along the Schuylkill upriver from the art museum? I've not been back in well over 10 years. Thank you for the picture, I'd forgotten how much I like the area.

Are there any problems with flooding in the low-lying areas?

Thanks guys.

Yes this is just up from the boathouse.

A lot of lower/riverside areas got some serious water. those that are familiar with the area, a large chunk of main st in manayunk was under water for a while (should be down today), and lots of others as well.

To be honest, it doesn't take a whole lot for parts of Manayunk to flood anyway.

Nice photos, Dave.

I got the same shot: boathouse row

and one of a flooded boathouse, I heard on NPR that the boats were floating around on the first floor.

Booo. You are now relegated to the status of tourist. Go get your picture taken in front of the Rocky statue.

I ran the Loop today. The city has done a great job of clearing debris though, and the path was not too bad, just lots of drying mud everywhere. I kind of liked the fact that the distance markers every quarter mile were covered.
