Subject: Song or group name help

Channel surfing and heard a song on Classic Rock 101 of Vancouver.  Only lyrics I caught were,  Say hello, say hello , take me home  (thought that might be part of the chorus)  had a very good guitar sound....

 I looked on napster, but it wasn't those groups.  This song had the sound from the 80s or maybe 90s.  I first thought of the group April Wine (but it's not) and since it came out of a Canadian station.  Maybe a Canadian Group.   It's not Guster.

I know it's not much to go on..hate it when they don't say the name after the song is over.

Man, that's the first time I couldn't Google the answer. April Wine, David Gray, and Cher were the closest links that even resembled those lyrics.

Max and Jeng ROCK!!  It is April Wine from Harder and Faster.  Unfortunately It's not on Napster.  Only a few of their songs are on that website.
