Just unbelievable. It was definitely perfect conditions today in Philly, 50's and clear, with a slight breeze.

Mathew Kisoiro ran the Rock 'n Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon in 58:46 this morning, setting a new all-comers US record.That's a 4:29 pace!

In the women's race, Kim Smith of New Zealand shattered her own USA all-comer's record, clocking 1:07:10.

My time was 1:38:33

Very flat and fast. If you're not in the front it's a bit crowded running through the city, but I don't think they had that problem

Ugh, 58! 58:46. Sorry. I am in good company though, IAAF reported his time as 56:46 in their headline, then has the right time in the story.

Nice job out there brian!

I was out on course around the loop and watched the top two come through at mile 8, shoulder to shoulder, with no one else in sight (they ended up finishing i think three seconds apart).

I had one of my athletes out there as well running his third half, came through in 1:21 and everytime i saw him there was a steady stream of people around even at the lower 6 min pace range (and a LOT in front of there).

Very well run race for that many people.
