I just spend almost 2 hours on the trainer while using the APICS Online Training Modules on my laptop. I used 2 boxes, the tables center leaf and my mom's walker to make a shelf to work on. Needless to say my wife thinks I am psychotic. What is the strangest thing you have done on a trainer?

thats not strange at all. I had my netbook bungie corded to my aero bars for a while while using the trainer. I then had the brilliant idea to set up a little training "room" behind my furnace. 1 piece of drywall for the "screen", a couple of scraps of wood for a ceiling mount for the LCD projector and I have 60'ish inches of Ironman, movies or spinervals running off my laptop.

- toasted and eaten two Pop Tarts with milk

- cat jumps up on me. I throw cat across the room, javelin-style. Repeat (with a different cat). Repeat (first cat). Repeat (second cat). You get the idea.

- I've ridden a Spinner(R) bike backwards while doing backwards pushups on the handlebars. (Don't do this, it's ridiculous)

- I've made out with someone who was on a Spinner(R) bike next to mine. (Don't do this, it's fun though)

- used the laptop (BT'ed, even)

- actually, used the laptop to do live Skype trainer rides together with other BTers

- parked a book on the square made by handlebars/aerobars and read it

You have a toaster AND a fridge within arms length of your trainer? You are my new hero.... As to others, seems pretty routine

Played Mario Kart and Wii Bowling. I'm actually quite good at bowling while on the trainer. If you are playing with another person, do fast intervals while it's their turn. Pretty good workout. I'm trying to figure out a way to mount the Wii-mote on the handlebars and rig up some way to steer for a more realistic Mario Kart experience. Or, that might be how I finally wreck the trainer bike.

I finished an entire workout on a trainer.  90 minutes.

May not sound strange but with my AD and instant boredom on a trainer, it was definitely a strange moment.  One day I hope to do it again.

Do my first marathon, first HIM and first IM in the first year of doing triathlons (2006).  Oh, you stated "strangest" and not "stupid".

Not on a trainer (all I ever do there is sweat and whimper), but strange..... Got up one weekend morning at 4:30 AM (this was in Beijing, they don't do Daylight Savings, so in June it's light then) and went for an hour or so run. Not a morning person but loved this time for the novelty of quiet streets and clean air! Came back, showered, went back to bed. Then, got up at 8:00, totally forgot I'd already run, and went for another run (different route). Came back, went to hang up sweaty running clothes on balcony, and found my other sweaty running clothes. Did I mention I'm NOT a morning person??

I have actually managed to setup my laptop on my big screen tv and have a wireless keyboard/trackball that I have bungied to a piece of plywood.

This allows me to drop the $20 keyboard and not freakout that I just ruined the laptop, and the screen is big enough to see without my glasses.

I don't use it enough to be good at it yet.  But as I get more T.I.T.S. I'll have to if I want to keep up with work and BT.

Watched Titanic three times. Mostly just to see the bit where Kate Winslet walks down the stairs in that dress with the gloves on.

I am convinced I am truly the only human on Earth who had/has access to DVD players that hasn't seen Titanic.

I've never seen it and I'd like to keep it that way. I've never seen any of the Shrek movies, either.

Well think of the devil ... speaking of Nekidd, I done that on the trainer too

Was whomped from a 10K swim, too tired to put bike clothes on ... or any clothes ...

I saw part of a Shrek on a plane, can't recall if 1 or 2, and my mom oddly enough has 4, I think, so I stole it to watch on the trainer.
