Pre-race routine:

Dragged myself out of bed about 30 minutes before I needed to leave.
Event warmup:

I laid in the sun on the running trail at the park trying to stay warm.

Comments:

First race since the boy was born! I eased into the first mile, spent the next 3 passing people, and then spent the second loop by myself. No one passed me and I didn't pass anybody. I'm pretty sure the course was a bit long.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing really. It was fun to be racing again and a nice way to trick myself into doing 8 miles.

It was a really nice trail to run. Very scenic in the fall. Only problem I had was all the tree roots... twisted both my ankles.
