Pre-race routine:

Decided I wanted to race today. Looked up to see where there were any and drove to the site.

Event warmup:

Walked and stretched and jumped up and down to keep warm.
Run
  • 53m 37s
  • 4.4 miles

Comments:

First time I did a race with sweats on, it was a little chilly but I warmed up quickly and wish I had a thinner hat. It was really windy. Just as I was finishing another snow squall was moving in and it was white out conditions.
What would you do differently?:

Run faster.
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

I am fat.

Event comments:

I guess because of the chill and shortness of the race they did not have a water stop set up. We did start a couple minutes late but I think that is because they were trying to accomodate all the last minute registrants. The final stats show that I was dead last again but I passed at least two people.
