2350 for me this AM, twas hard to jump in, I wish they would keep the water a little warmer.
I am at 42% of my goal of 21,000. Right on track!

I am a little ahead of where I need to be and will probably try and get to the pool tonight. I will not be able to make it tomorrow night which is my regular swim night.

While we're not in first place -- we are DEFINATELY ahead of the Carolina's! Isn't it interesting that the top Three Teams in this little party are from the frozen northland... And the teams ins the south, where weather is better are falling behind!

That is interesting but I'll bet the water I am swimming in is much colder!! The Northerners are impressive so far but I can see the Curmudgeons taking another big step this week. By Christmas we will have a little present to put under your tree!!!

Well I got in a solid 2000yds yesterday. At a veerry slow pace, but that's OK. Now I'm at 4650/6000yds with 4 days left. No problem!!

350 left.........you should be able to knock that out by the end of the week. Great job!!!

I put in another 1760 last night as well, which puts me at 10611/14100 = 75%.

It looks like we we be looking good going into this week next week. We might even take over Team Utah.

Ok, peeps--I'm back! My son is responding well to treatment and the doc cleared my lungs, so I swam this morning--1500 meters, no less. Felt great to be back!

Of course, I also gave myself a fat lip on the bottom of the pool. Exuberant dolphin kicking is dangerous, if you're me.

That's 3,000 out of 15,000, but no worries, I will make it.

SMACK to all ya'll other teams. Bronchitis, reactive airway disorder and WE'RE STILL GONNA WHUP YA!!!

Nice Schwimming BeCivil --- You're at 87% right now -- good stuff.! I'm at 76.5% right now, (oh and I have a 5900 yard higher goal than you!) so you can get comfortable with your short lived percentage lead over me. But be advised - I'll be DONE by Wednesday of next week! You can take that to the Bank!

I must admit with Team Canada having this many members and weather you guys have to overcome make your achievements very impressive but wouldn't it suck to hold the lead this long and find out near the end that there is a "mole" on your team.

Are you kidding me? Who would do that? The swim challenge is about challenging yourself as much (maybe more) than getting together and challenging others...

BeCivil, are you trying to plant doubt in Team Canada? Get a life (or get to the pool and try and keep up with us).

OK BeCivil -- You've been pushing my buttons all month --- And that's great! Keeps me motivated -- but be advised -- AS of this morning, I am at 21,300 yards --- of a committed 20,000 yards --- That's right -- I'm 100% plus of goal ! Add to that 2 other TEAM UTAH members will finish their goals this week! We're melting the Carolina's!

I've done 3100 meters this week, and I will do at least 1500 more tomorrow, pre-trip. I will be fine to finish between Mexico and back here at the end of the month.
