Comments:

Pretty slow getting out of the starting line... as their were 1000s of people literally... the snow started coming down pretty good and the road was getting pretty slippery... kept very cool during the run... after 1st mile i felt great... not cold at all.
What would you do differently?:

nothing... this is an awsome and very entertaining race.. I will do it again next year for sure.. this is my 2nd year doing the reindeer run.
Post race
Warm down:

ch. chip cookies ... mmmmm walking around...

What limited your ability to perform faster:

the huge croud at the starting line... the slippery ground...

Event comments:

I'd have to say this is one of the most entertaining race activities I have ever attended ... very good acccomodations (heat tent was a MUST!!!) .. lots of food, drink ...

Very cool race!  I was thinking about doing the LTF race around this area, I think this seals the deal!

Looks like great fun!

I have the Chiller Challenge 8K coming up in January.  That's always an interesting race.  Makes winter a little more enjoyable when you live in the midwest.

Looks like you had fun this morning!  Got to have fun events to keep life fun!  I kinda miss those crazy running events.  I remember doing one on New Years day around White Bear Lake, and another around valentines day at Lake Nokomis!  Fun Fun --- Just have to rememebr the cold running gear!

Great photos! Glad you had a good race. It was cold in Florida today for our Jingle Bell Jog - about 60. Believe it or not people break out the gloves and running tights.
