Sounds like a workout buddy and nothing more.

possum - 2005-12-06 12:06 PM Are you seriously making personal decisions based on BT'ers interpretations of your interpretations of some poor guy's behavior?

No- it's just lame discussion. Way to kill time. I can make decisions for myself.

Janelle...you're proving the llama boy's point.

And if you tell people that your posting threads looking for relationship advice when you don't actually want any and in fact have already made your mind up, thereby causing your fellow BTers to waste their time responding to a pointless thread, then...wow.

I have been asked to provide an update so I am.  If you have a  problem with that then you don't need to participate on this thread

Hmm... I think you're onto something.  I was worried that I was mistaking him as a potential, when he's only a good training partner.  Darn it!  Why do I always do that?

runnergirl29 - 2005-12-06 9:16 AM I often wonder- am I being too picky and not cutting the guy enough slack?  Am I just "looking" for something wrong so I can cut him off?  I mean how do I know what to tolerate and what not to tolerate.  Nobody is perfect (we all have our own faults) so I have to keep reminding myself that.

Don't ever settle for less than your expectations!!  Someone out there will sweep you off your feet.

That sounds like you're asking for advice...

But...I wasn't talking about me. Like I need an excuse to participate in a thread. Remember...I don't contribute anything, right?

heh...llama boy.

Why haven't you and 3558 hooked up? You two seem to be a good match. Lets look at the commonn interests:

1. BT
2. Tri
3. Burrito Fetish, Chipotle
4. Ignorance of the Mighty Gyro
5. Same Age Group
6. Sugar Cookies

Just sayin...

being the expert on all topics requiring expertise, i can say you're doing fine. in fact i'm glad that you're not settling. no one needs to get that super 100% perfect person, but there are basic needs a relationship, um, needs. laughter is CERTAINLY one of them.

he sounds good for "fun", but if the overall relationship-chemistry doesn't start clicking soon then you might be wasting both yours and his time.

my $.02

by the way i'm always right.

Because I dumped her to take TriTakeMeAway to the zoo, where she bought me a sweet pink tshirt.  I've gotten over her love of the quesadilla.... but something is still missing.

He doesn't like them at all.  I told him the only tat I would ever get is an M Dot tat after IM FL.  And he flat out said "Don't get a tatoo.  I don't think it would look good at all."

He sounds like a dick. Telling you what not to do and he barely knows you? Tell him to piss off. You decide for yourself whether you want a guy who doesn't hesitate to make decisions for you, and thinks what he thinks trumps what you think/want.

Janelle it sounded last night (and today) that you've made your decision. You don't need us to validate that feeling. Stay friends and workout partners with him, no big deal. If the relationship hasn't really progressed there shouldn't be worry for akwardness and if there is, thats his problem.

You never found my burrito humor funny because I ripped on you for haivng poor burrito eating form.  That's why.  Had you eaten the burrito correctly in the first place and not had people make fun of you, you would appreciate the burrito humor.
