I'm sure it is somewhere...I justcan't seem to find it. What do the different colors mean in the training calendar. Pink = did training, yellow = had an entry but no workout...???

Ditto ... I've come up with roughly the same guesstimate as you.  Marmadaddy?

There was a legend in the general Training Log how-to article but that's apparently been editted and the mini-calendar legend was taken out:

here's what I remember:

  Logged Tri Training
General comments, no workout or nutrition data
  Raced
Health data, but no training data
I swear that this used to be for Nutrition only, but I haven't seen it in a while. Ron?

Day where you didn't train, eat, race, or have anything interesting enough to blog happen. Try to keep these to a minimum. :)

The legend is here:

PINK = Run, bike or swim data.

RED = Strength data, with or without tri-sports.

BLUE = No Logged workouts, ONLY health data.

YELLOW = Only logged 'Overall Comments'

GREEN = Race Day

I just moved it from the settup article to the actual logging article.

How does the log know that I raced? There is no place to input a race.

chris hughes - 2006-01-21 9:23 PM How does the log know that I raced? There is no place to input a race.

The BT logs know everything. Smile

It's done from the Race Summary page.

  • Click on the Your Races button at the top of the page.
  • Click on the "Very Cool Race Details" button at the bottom of the list of races
  • Under the list you'll see a box labelled "Copy race data to training log".
  • Pick the race you want reflected in your training log and click Copy.

The day of the race will now be green in the mini-calendar in your training log. Note that the race distances and times will be copied from your race report into your log too, so any distances you had for those events will be overwritten.

Gill,
Your race is saved as a draft. In order to show up in your calendar as a green day, click on 'edit' in your list of races and then save it using the 'Save' button rather than the 'Save as Draft' button.

Thanks Marmadaddy. That was the problem, although in the end I had to make the race public to get rid of the draft status.
