Subject: About time! F-1 season is back!
My boys better got off their azz this year and win the championship again! Last year was a fluke because of the tires. This year they can change tires during the race so it should be back to the old standard even with the new V-8 restrictions!

Any other F-1 lunatics here??

Oh, and just so everyone knows where my loyalty has been for the past 20 years ......

Yeah, if you don't have Speed than you can't really watch more than three or four.

Bahrain GP is on at 6:00am Sunday. You can follow it "live" on F1-live.com at least.

I love sportbikes, but have not followed MotoF1 for a while. Wasn't Rossi trying for a driver's slot in F1??

He did do some testing in an F1 car, and also there was some rumors to the extent that he might go into rally driving too.

I've loved F1 since the early 60's and the days of my idol, Jim Clark.  I had a subscription to Road & Track when I was in Jr. High so I could read Henry Manney's race reports months after the races were actually run. 

Was up at 5:45AM this morning so I could put on a pot of coffee and log onto live timing & scoring before the race came on at 6:00AM.  Watched the race and then headed out for a 30 mile ride on a beautiful FL day.

Live is great...

Montreal is a great F1 city.  When the race comes to town the place is alive with F1 fever.  We get all the races live on the local cable network. As much as I like to sleep in on weekends, every second Sunday we are up for the race. Too bad '' Newtown'' has been having some big problems the last couple of years.

The only F1 race I ever went too live was last year's USGP ....... what a way to get your first live taste of the sport. We left about 1/3 of the way throough it.

But the rest of the weekend was awesome!

Schumi got second yesterday, not a bad start compared to last year. Should be a good year!
