Comments: Vinette set the pace and it was faster than I would have done on my own today. I regret to admit that I have been "comfort" running and not pushing myself. What would you do differently?: Pin my green feather boa to my shirt. I had it wrapped around my neck and it felt hot. Post race Warm down: I was bad, no warm down. I just walked to the area of the drinks and goodies. Had a sparkling water and a yogurt drink. After finishing the yogurt drink, I looked at the label...46g sugar!!!! Too much! What limited your ability to perform faster: I was limited by not having pushed myself harder during my training. I have been keeping my runs "comfortable". I have misplaced the elastic strap for HRM, I need to locate that. Using the HRM, kept me more disciplined. Event comments: It was a super sunny day--Just gorgeous. The view of Puget Sound from the viaduct was awesome. I can't think of a better way to start the day than getting together with friends and running. Last updated: 2006-02-24 12:00 AM |

Showered and dressed; had coffee, whole wheat english muffin with peanut butter, banana, water; met up with Tina at the Park and Ride.
We drove to Safeco Field and caught the shuttle bus to Queen Anne.
Warmed up by jogging a few blocks for about 5 minutes.
