Next up for the bear after Crescent City. Anyone else up for one more duathlon before we get into the meat of the triathlon season?

Did this one last year in the inaugural race, less than 100 participants. Nicely organized, casino put on a good post-race spread for us, also has nice cash prizes for the winners.

I may do this as a tune up for Memphis in May.... it is kind of a longish drive for me but I know a few people who want to do it and may ride with them..... It will be a last minute decision.

Last year was a good time though

I'm thinking about doing this one too. Also FYI, called the hotel, and right now the rate for the weekend of the race is $49/night. Not bad for a Casino. I may make a weekend out of it.
