I tried my first combination of the three elements a couple weeks ago, but only half the distance I'll be doing in the race (which is a 3/4 mile swim, 24 mile bike, and 5 mile run ). I didn't do as well as I'd hoped, but I learned some important things about eating, and transitions. Overall I'm glad I did it because now I know what I have to really focus on in the next 6 weeks of training. Keep up the good work! |
