Great Job, Soloryder!   You're gonna make it.  As for me -- Just under 3000 yards to meet the monthly goal.

Ok Gang, has any decision been made on May?  Or are we going to fold this little party at the end of April.  I know that I'll be probably cutting my swimming back a bit in May so I can learn how to run fast, and bike faster!  But I'm in with what everyone else decides.

 Keep on Swimmin!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!   As of this morning, 34,600 yards completed in April.  Goal was 33,275 !  Whew!

I'll probably still get 1 more swim in this  month.

 Do I have gills yet?

Great job in the pool Brett.   I need 1282m to finish.  I have at least 1 more swim sheduled this week and might hit the pool once more before the end of the month.

Will this madness ever end.?????????????

Nice work Brett! I still need 2203m to finish April and I have 2 more swim workouts so there should be no problem getting it done. I'd be happy to call everyone who finishes April a winner and move on to new challenges that others can join. If some of you want to keep going though that's fine. Another month will likely thin the ranks here a bit more.

Done like dinner.    The pressure is off.   31100 complete and I might hit the pool again on the weekend and use it as a brick workout.  Left my parachute ( trunks)  on the deck last night after practice.    I will have to stick my head into the lost and found bin and poke around. This might just mean I will have to head out to the store and by some new trunks.

O.k. everybody.  I put fore the motion to bring this challenge to an end.  Everybody who has completed their goal, give yourself a pat on the back, that is if you can actually get your arm over you head due to the sore shoulders.  We can now relinquish Steve’s responsibility from updating the spreadsheet from week to week. However one last time would be nice to carve in virtual stone the names of the final winners. I will buy Steve a beer next time he is in Montreal.  Those of you who want shirts with the logo  “ I survived the BT Solo Swim Challenge”  to bad, they don’t exist.

Lets have a good summer and start this up again in the fall.

All in favour Say  “I”.

MIKE

Sounds like a good idea. Many thanks to all of you for keeping me swimming - I'm a good bit past my April goal at 20099 yards, my max swim yardage ever. By the end of next month, I should have surpassed my swimming yardage for all of last YEAR!

Congrats!! And thanks!!!

"I"

and, since I actually do get up to Calgary from time to time, I might be able to fix Steve up with some refreshments. We're likely to cross paths sooner or later if we're both doing tris in the area. :)

Thanks everyone for a great challenge!

Hi All,

First off Congratulations. Hope that this challenge has helped your overall triathlon training. I will update the spreadsheet over lunch time today.

Re drinks in Montreal and Lethbridge/Calgary - I'd love to meet up with any of you whether it be for drinks or not.

Good luck in your races.

Steve

Thanks Steve for being "RENEE" for this challenge!   That's great news.  I appreciate your help.

I'm looking forward to the spreadsheet to see how we all faired.  I hope to have a "Solo Swim Challenge Survivors" avatar available to all survivors in the next day or so.

Thanks again, and Happy Training!
