took the porn for a ride today. absolutely gorgeous. feels so much faster and obviously more aerodynamic than my other bike (trek hybrid 7.2) and wasn't that hard getting used to the different brakes and gears.

just need to ensure my sore itb clears up asap then i'm off for a proper training ride.

the main downside tot he extra pint and the baileys was that i was too hungover yesterday to give the beauty a spin. note to self exrecise = decreased alcohol tolerance.

just gotat rest my lovely itb for a week and then i'm out on her again. she's gorgeous!

Stretch, stretch, stretch that ITB. I ended up in PT for ITB syndrome last year. The good news is, it got me in the pool for rehab, which got me interested in this triathlon craziness.

But, seriously - stretch as well as rest. And ice it. You can also work on the trigger points along it - but very very gently.
