I had a few new years resolutions and I am 1/3 rd of the way to one of them as of today - my goal was to run 3000K this year and I just passed the 1000K mark with my run this afternoon. Woohoo. I am getting closer to my goal weight for the year as well only 17lbs to go to 146 .

Anyone else making progress on their new years resolutions?

Great job on both fronts! That's a ton of running mileage.

Yeah my NYR was to get down to 190 (from 214 on 1/1). I'm there, now looking to get below 185, 180, whatever. Last time I was below 180, five years ago, several people inquired if I had some type of cancer.

Ha - I can gain 4 lbs in the blink of an eye, less than that even, just looking at food. Have fun on the way up the scale

Congrats and good luck on the rest of it.  My NY res was pretty non-specific, just do my first tri this year.

I was 145 lbs.  In 5th grade.

I don't do NYRs.

In 19(long time ago), my Dad's NYR was to quit smoking, which he did.  Smoked a cigarette just before midnight and said he wasn't going to smoke any more that year.

He lit his next cigarette at a New Year's party, just after midnight, exactly one year later! Ever since then I just don't get the point....maybe I'm scarred LOL....

I didn't make any official resolutions. However, I did make a few changes. I quit smoking, I started taking exercise slightly more seriously. Other than that, eh, I take it as it comes.
