Subject: Boxee
Just started researching "PC" style home entertainment systems and came across some discussions on something called Boxee. Anyone have any experience with this? 
Sounds like a great way to eliminate cable & satellite service with very little initial cost.

Boxee is cool but Roku has more customers and more time in the market. We've had our Roku for over a year now I think and it works great.

We don't have Roku in Canada, but it looks like it is coming soon.

I have no experience with Boxee, but I've been using AppleTV & Netflix for awhile now and it's working great.

Boxee is moving in the right direction but from what i have read it still has limitations.  The best way to go (IMO) is to get an apple TV (2nd generation) Jailbreak it and but a program called XBMC on it.  It's a lot cheaper but does not come with the sweet two sided remote Boxee has but will be able to stream all your media from your computer.

My roommates have Boxee, and it's really nice.  I've had no problems with it, and I've considered trying that when I move in a couple weeks.  The ONLY downside to me is that I can't watch football games live on Sundays!  For me, that kind of makes it a no-go.
