Good morning!

5am:  60 mins//19.25 on the KK
6am:  3 mile run

My Jingle Jog 5K was so much fun yesterday.  Had quite a few 7th & 8th graders run/walk it!  Many of them were surprised just how far 3 miles is to run.  If even one of them is inspired to start running I'll consider it a success.  Although the food we were able to donate was  a success in itself.  Another surprising feat:  my 7 year old daughter  ran/walked it with my 70 year old dad who is here visiting.  I told both of them to stay put...neither of them listened.  The only person more stubborn than my dad is my daughter!  In all it was a good time!

Heading to Boise today to spend a few days with some dear friends.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

5 miles on the mill.  Ran in the shade of the sun room.  Outside temps are just at freezing.  Sun room temps are in the low 50's .    Will swim at the wellness center when it opens for the afternoon.

Felicitations for the successful Jingle Jog.

Some pretty images from today's OWS:

Clifftop temple

Lovely goatfish with a cleaner wrasse eating algae and parasites from its tail.

Triggerfish--not too clear, but they really look like they have gold threads on their skin.

A moray eel (white with small purple and yellow polka dots) slithering through the seaweed.

Wow that's a beautiful place for an OWS! If I had someplace like that near me i'd be swimming their almost every weekend

It really is, and today's pictures just don't do it justice at all (overcast, couldn't get good lighting for fish pics). Thanks! Yep, I do indeed swim there every weekend, and pretty much every chance I get. The beach is also popular with ... piglets. Of the yummy juicy eye candy variety. I am one superbly lucky girl.

20 mile run today. Thank goodness that's over and taper starts!

Laughing

A little freaked about not having a training run a little closer to 26.2, but everyone assures me it's fine.

Yes you will be fine. I only made it to 18 miles on my training. In my race my 18th mile was my fastest. Will try for 45 mins on my trainer later after dinner.

Kim: Sounds like a successful, fun day!

Yanti: Gorgeous pictures. Hope you're feeling better.

My Sunday was included a fun 14 mile MTB race, a couple naps, football on tv, folding loads of laundry, and Vietnamese food. YUM.
