Sorry you got hurt, those rocks were treacherous.  I breast stroked in and climbed that dock like a sea turtle so not to hurt my feet.  But other than that five feet, great race.  Thanks Jason for volunteering.

Thanks for keeping this thread alive. I've only gone the sprint distance so far and was planning on making Augusta my first 70.3 distance in 2014, until I found out about this race. I am hoping to do the Oly distance in August to get a feel for the course, especially the swim.  

I know this weekend will be the first Half Iron and am hoping some folks will give some feedback as to whether or not this is a good "first-timer" race for someone who is looking to take the step up to the longer distance.

Looking forward to reading some race reports for 4.20 race.

What a great event for up and coming Triathletes!

Medium size event with a personal touch!

The town of Columbus Georgia is beautiful. 
Plenty of things to see and do while supporting your Triathlete.

Volunteers and locals were super nice.

I would highly recommend this event!
