Seriously..Whats the benefit of raising your post count?

You look like you may know something.

That's my tactic at work.

How do stars relate to post count? Or do they? I've always wondered and thought it would be a ridiculous question to ask, but now seems like the time, and here I can increase my post count at the same time.

They're kind of like Roman Numerals in color format, but they start with 25 and are only additive. No IV = 4 stuff to figure out.

Oh I see. So a green star is for 25, a red is for 1000 a pink is for 100 and a blue is for 500? Just judging by your star count...

Do they subtract from your post count? Worse yet, subtract double?
Moderators have the option of reducing post count when deleting threads/posts. Most bad threads are just moved to purgatory , though, so post counts are not reduced

So if they're in purgatory, they have a chance at redemption.  Interesting.  (See, that's how you pad posts while saying something even though you have nothing to say.)

Whenever someone posts a pix of their bike, immediatly reply with "You seat is too high."

Go to COJ and TAN for a few years then come back here and people will think you must of won Kona since your post count is so high.

With a full time job and a family, I find it is important to have a plan and then stay committed. In order to avoid taking time away from the family, I try to do most of my activities before they wake up or over the lunch hour.

Wait...what are we posting about?

jsnowash - 2012-02-11 5:41 AM I would just caution you to add posting volume conservatively to avoid over-posting injuries. Some advise no more than a 10% increase in thread posting per week, but if you type a little slower, you might be able to add more than that.

too stinking funny. Good one!

Its so when you post about things you have no idea about people actually think you know what your talking about.  It's simple really.

Edit...

Oh dear, this post made my post count 1666...

You start a conversation you can't even finish.
You're talking a lot, but you're not sayin' anything.
When I have nothing to say, my lips are sealed.
Say something once, why say it again?
