Subject: Somebody needs to bring a race like this to Ontario

This would be a riot to do:

I'd love to try and contest wave 2.

Make it a weekly series for points (as someone on ST said) and it would be cool way to spend a weeknight all summer.

Interesting concept and one we have occasionally thought about on different levels. The issue is how do you adapt this for age group athletes? Once you have done that, how would prizing work or would bragging rights be good enough if you had a lot of fun? Any suggestions?

Maybe by doing this on a specific slot, like a try-a-tri, in the week end, and getting rid of the AG thing by just registering teams for this specific event.

A little bit like the relay category for 70.3, there is just teams, not individuals, and results are by teams also.

I have no experience on organizing events, so I don't know what's the implication behind but that looks like a fun race to do, and accessible to everybody (first timers to racers).

We watched that event 'live' on our computer.  SO exciting and much more fun to watch than the full Oly ITU races, which are becoming a bit boring.   Very few break aways on the bike and everyone holds back to the last part of the run.   THIS event, however, was fast and furious.    Would definitely want to try one out.

While I was researching my 2012 triathlon map I came across an event that was a very short sprint.  It was a small independent event somewhere near Peterborough, and I can't remember what it is was called now.
