I'm in, also planning on a PR.  Hope you're not in my age group, lol..  We'll be camping there all week prior to the race.

I was able to get in last year on cancellations too. Will this be your first time for the QC Tri?I was really impressed with there setup they put on a real class act.

I am hoping to beat my PR as well this year.

I'll be there, as will my brother-in-law.  First time tri for both of us.  Goal is finish, Stretch Goal is to finish w/o having to walk on the run.  I've heard great things about the race, really looking forward to it!

Yeah it's a great race, RD Eric Sarno does a fantastic job.  Last year was my first time there and I'm planning to do it every year.  The roads are nice and smooth with a couple of rolling hills you'll hit out and back.  The run starts off on grass, then turns to sort of a gravel trail for maybe a half mile, then out on the road the rest of the way.  Nothing real difficult.

Probably going to miss this one for the first time in four years.  Not sure at all how I feel about that, but it's entirely possible that I'll still be out there doing bike support.

Enjoy the race!  It is a good one.

Water temp is supposedly at 74, but there are still two more days of heat to make it warmer.  Wetsuit is still coming with me, but will be a game time decision based on the "you can swim with one but will be out of medal contention" temperature.

I won't be swimming with a wetsuit...but then again I never planned to in the first place regardless of water temperature   Too big of an investment for my first tri...maybe in a year or two depending on whether I keep at sprint distance or decide to try for longer races.

I'll be siiting out this year but I'll be driving the squad car leading the bike course. Easy OT as a cop plus I'm training for a marathon. Best of luck to all coming to compete and say hi to the sheriff deputy leading the race, it will be me.

So how was being the squad truck?  I think I would trade doing bike support for racing if I have the option again...it was much more fun to race.

I actually worked the bike course near the turn around. And I agree racing last year is much more fun and watching the race made me really miss it.
