Anyone having difficulty with these while biking? I have been pre-opening them lately which helps but the other problem is they break apart in pieces which isn't very easy to deal with while biking.  I do like them but I wouldn't be using them if that wasn't the on course nutrition for IM Mont Tremblant.  Maybe they will switch it to something else being that the products main sponsor is Lance and he is being accused of cheating....hmmm

I had the same problem when training with them. Are they for sure going to be using the waffles? I know they have gels, chews, bars etc as well.

I haven't had problems with the product. I have used them with my road, mountain and tri bike and tri bike is easiest since my hands I kind of use both hands when opening stuff.

I have pretty big pockets on the bike and have also used them from a bento box.

Did you buy an old box? I ask because they don't break apart for me unless I really smash them into a pocket.

I love them...Buy them by the case. When I'm on the bike I like to feel like I'm eating something of substance. GUs get old and are best kept for the run and most other bars are a little too much to eat on the go. Waffles all the way!!

I usually open them, but keep them in the package...If they break apart I'll just pull the pieces out and then pour the rest in my mouth from the package. I've never thought that they were problematic at all...

I hear you....

I trained with them last year and used them on bike at IMFL...dropped a couple racing which I never have done training.  I enjoy them being different than sugary gel and drinks.

They are an odd size an struggle to get them in my Bento box as they are just a tad to wide.

X2

I pre open them (which can be a pain even when not on a bike) and break them into four pieces to go in my bento box.

My only problem with Waffle Stingers is waking up in the morning with wrappers in the bed from the binge the night before.  Those things are SO GOOD, they are addictive!  Binge food, yep...  Nom, Nom, Nom...

Seriously though, I too have to slit the wrapper prior to a race, then just handle it carefully when you pull it out of your Bento.

I break into 4 pices and put them in a snack size ziplock bag in my bento box. but then I am a neatnik and can't stand getting crumbs in my bento box.

i break them in half(eat a half every 30 mins) and place them on top of an aluminum foil in my bento box.   works really well for me.
