1 hour running the neighborhood this morning. This weekend looks like travel, travel and more travel, so I am not expecting to get anything in.

Good luck to this weekend's racers!

4,050 yd Medley based workout in the pool. Was going to swim outdoors, but wasn't sure of water quality due to recent weather. And wasn't sure about how legs were feeling, didn't want them to cramp up in the middle of the lake. Especially when it was likely too warm for a wetsuit. Heavy part of the ride is below, done to Sufferfest's A Very Dark Place, 5 x 4 min Intervals w/3:30 recovery. Plus another 90 min of riding ~75% or so.

Spent 30 minutes in the pool today just working on pull mechanics, didn't even count the meters. Tonight will be a 10k loop at what I hope is a controlled pace. Been failing terribly at going easy, every run for a month was at tempo pace.

Went to the pool for an hour, the swim went Ok but I was really tired today for some reason so it felt like quite a struggle.

I have been ridiculously lax in my swims this season so I've got to make sure I get to the pool tonight, and then a little run afterwards.

Firday is always a great pool day at my gym... The lanes are open and people aren't upset when I practice cannonballs.

Core work.     At my desk.    May run tonight, but not far.       Seems, in retrospect, this has been a rest week.    It wasn't planned that way.  Something about mice and men come to mind.

I've been mostly ignoring any strength training for the past few months, so today, I actually lifted some weights. Craziness!

Horrible 11 mile run this morning.  83% humidity kicked my butt.  Hope running in the soup helps this fall when the air clears.  Zapped me.  Hope everyone has a fun weekend!

Ran easy for an hour after work. Then put in a 2nd swim, sprint based and 2,600 yds.
