Talk to me about it.

I will be going there towards the end of September.

Places to stay?

Places to eat?

Things to do?

Thank you!

Golf. It seemed that most people, unless there for a family vacation, were there to golf.

Friends and I went there in 2006 (???) and we stayed in a friend's aunt's condo for a long weekend. We mostly beached it, ate and drank.  I think we went to Broadway at the Beach most nights to eat/hang out.

Otherwise, we didn't do much since my friend discovered an unfortunate result from marathon training whilst out one evening (let's just say it involved her bum and a word starting with 'h').

Just left there and have gone there all my life, love it.  But, it does depend on lots of things, kids?  You going solo..I assume not.  FYI, great biking on Ocean Blvd early in the morn but watch out for drunds crossing these street.  I roll at 6 am and do a 30 miler there, beautiful.  So, as one person said, Broadway.

Food, 1.  Sea Captian is a must  2. NY Prime,(bring some $, 2 eat for 150.00) 3.  Margarittaville (sp)

Have fun , fel fre  to elobrate on your family demographics then I can help more.  We have 3 kids so ours is kid oriented now.

Crazy Horse sounds fun though...what is that?  Perhaps I'll look into it next time there on a guy trip.

We've been twice and stayed at Camelot by the Sea each time. Decent enough condos for the price, right on the beach, etc. LOTS of kids there, though, so if you are trying to avoid kids I'd think about another place.

I've only been there for work, but I stayed at the doubletree complex and it was fantastic. Great restaurant, gym, beach and pool. Very easy to get in and out of and good service as well.
