I know this topic comes up ever once in a while, but I think I got a pretty cool shot this Sunday.  The image is from FirmMan half Iron distance in Narragansett, RI about an 45 min after sun rise.  There were 4 to 7 foot swells due to a storm on Saturday night.  People were warming up and practicing diving under the waves.   The swim wasn't that bad once you got past the waves crashing down on you.

Post some of your photos from this past season!

My wife took this one yesterday of my swim start at IMWI.  She used her cellphone, but I'm sure with a little work and some cropping it could look a little nicer.

Not triathlon but a mud run (spartan race).

You seem to have nailed down the focusing pretty good for fast moving subjects.

Single point AF on cont. Cameras are both set on whatever is the highest amount of focus points. I know this slows it down a tad but with most of this the chance to frame and recompose is not there and this seems to work well enough with the subjects.

A bit part of it is just knowing the sports well and when to shoot though (at least seems that way for me)
