Teejay,

Dig the blog.

Testing the waters to re-launch mine.

Last job had an issue with public education administrators exercising 1st amendment rights.

Thanks! You can go private and invite peeps too!

It was actually intended to be a support and advice blog for parents of students with disabalities, educators, and mental health workers - public by design.

lisac957 - 2012-09-17 11:23 AM Anyone ever have VERY inappropriate dreams about a co-worker?
I think you are going to have to give more details but sure depending how much time you spend with the person...it makes sense.

He is in my direct area, 2 doors down, I interact with him multiple times a day, attend events with him, etc.
I had a HUGE crush on him many years ago when he was a news anchor. Now he is my co-worker - small world.

It's perfectly normal for ANY woman to have dreams about Ron Burgundy.

"There was a time, a time before cable. When the local anchorman reigned supreme. When people believed everything they heard on TV. This was an age when only men were allowed to read the news. And in San Diego, one anchorman was more man then the rest. His name was Ron Burgundy. He was like a god walking amongst mere mortals. He had a voice that could make a wolverine purr and suits so fine they made Sinatra look like a hobo. In other words, Ron Burgundy was the balls."

1 - I have no memory of life before wife. I don't recognize sexiness in women since I have been married.

2 - I met my wife at work. On a technicality, we worked for different agencies (school district - mental health clinic).

Co-worker were actually upset that 1/2 of them had no clue that we were dating when they got the wedding invites... excuse our professionalism at work.

Not-at-work... that would be TAN fodder...

Guys (maybe Gals)

I need to buy three new tvs for my new place.  Two 32 inch and maybe one 42 inch for the main living room?

I have no idea, what is the difference between LCD and LED.  I want to be in the right decade and up to speed with techology.

Disclaimer: I watched the same channel for 8 month after my ex moved out, cause the remotes were too confusing and I don't want to impress men when they come over either.   I want them to love me not my TV.

how big is the room? LCD and LED have pros and cons depending on what you are watching etc. To be honest for you (I'm guessing) it wouldn't really matter between the two.

Downtown living so the rooms are not very big.  the bedrooms are actually very small. the loft is huge and the living room needs to be high up over the fireplace.

I bought a Samsung LED Smart TV (46" UN46ES8000) recently.  I picked the fastest speed (240 Hz).  I am happy with it.  It is at the lake house and we have not been able to spend much time there recently so I don't have much experience using all the feature.  I bought this model because it has the best picture. However, because it is their high end model, it also comes with a lot of gee whiz features.  For example, it hooks directly to the Internet for downloading movies and surfing the internet.   One of the supposedly cool things it does is to respond to hand signals to change the channel or volume. I thought that sounded ridiculous so I haven't set that feature up.  The TV came with three different remotes.  Overkill?

Most of the Panasonic, Sony, and Samsung models have great pictures and decent reputations for reliability.  Pick the one you like in the store.  If you have a home theater sound system,  it may be complicated to hook up.  It doesn't require a PhD in mechanical engineering to hook them up but it helps.  If you get a high end TV, it will probabaly come with more features than you will actually use.

I am probably going to buy a 32"  for the condo in Atlanta.  We don't have a TV there now. I expect I will get a Samsung so it operates the same way as the one at the lake.

I bought a 46" Westinghouse LCD in July and the picture started to go out 8 days later. Still need to get on the phone with customer service, email them photos, and let them "troubleshoot" with me. What a pain.
