Felt like I was going too toss my cookies the first mile so I went slow when that subsided I felt better so my pace picked up.

Man, that was fast Eric -  I mean the way you posted this before I even got back to Nebraska. . .  

It was good to meet a fellow BT'er.  Hope your pals all enjoyed a good race too.  Now that I've had some time to think about it, it really was a great race.  They do a great job in Kansas.  I'll watch for the splits to be posted online, but it looks like you had a good overall time.

That temperature's way too hot to run in BTW.
