Sure, the door's plenty thick, but look at the door jam.  It's only a few inches across.  Zombies are excellent at tearing through plywood/drywall as seen here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ng44SGuTqQk

I'm thinking that if you just infect yourself, you could get lucky and become a lead-zombie like that one in "I Am Legend" who seemed to be smart enough to lead zombies, but not smart enough to know that Will Smith could cure him if he worked with him...

I don't bother counting my ammo. I figure if I get through the first couple-thousand rounds, I should be pretty good to go. Besides, I live in southwestern New Mexico. Zombies couldn't survive a summer here. I just have to make it through the short winter and I'll be fine.

Why wouldn't they make it in the summer? I heard they don't like water (all the decomposition makes it hard to swim) and they don't like cold, snowy weather (frozen joints).

If anything the desert is a perfect place for a zombie summer home.

I love that since I started reading this forum, this is the 2nd zombie conversation! I figure if you use Zombieland Rule#1 everyone here should be good. But, if there's no Bacon....... I'm not positive that's a world worth saving.

If you only have 2 hands, why would you want 100 heavy weapons? That just means you outfit your neighbors who can then a) use up all your ammo or b) turn on you.
I'm all for Rifle, Shotgun, 1 maybe 2 pistols, lots of mags, body armor (for zombies, I would think a leather neck, arm guards of some type, maybe a helmet), and a camelback.
