Pre-race routine:

clear and 74 on arrival but dropped to 68 at start and became overcast all day, few rain drops, really benefited from being in the 4th wave, bike course was sparse at the start and lots of bikes in transition still, I knew it would be cool and allow me too push harder and tried to take advantage of it
Event warmup:

None
Swim
  • 27m 26s
  • 2112 yards
  • 01m 18s / 100 yards
Comments:

200 sucked trapped behind in a mound and drank lots of water finally opened up later, minimal drafting but glad to be left alone, good sighting, eventually got back to good form, extra Pam made the suit fake off
What would you do differently?:

Swim better in the scrum

Comments:

Had to pee bad which took another minute
Run
  • 1h 53m 57s
  • 13.1 miles
  • 08m 42s  min/mile
Comments:

Took 3 cups water at each stop one on head one on back and drank one, used fuel belt with hammer gels 2bottles, nutrition worked well, started off at 8:30 passed and tried to hold it steady, one split at 9, the coolness saved me
Post race

Water and fresh cut fruit was perfect

What limited your ability to perform faster:

initial swim 200

Event comments:

For ? 3300 entries went great but that may be since I was in fourth wave

Nice race!  I rode my P2SL yesterday at Augusta as well.  I actually love that bike.  Weather sure was perfect.
