Kido - 2012-10-31 12:32 PM Howard being 3 for 14 at the line didn't help.

that and the above comment about getting Mr Nash going.

Chris is right about the panic being on a higher level in LA Land. It also gives the networks something to talk about.  We all know it's a long season. Heck when a friend gave me tickets to next's week's game I had to look to see if it was preseason or regular season.  I'd like the season shortened and starting at Christmas, since it fits my schedule better

ChrisM - 2012-10-30 2:47 PM Sitting in my office looking down at Staples Center, hoping that this experiment goes better than the Payton/Malone "title run" of a few seasons back.  At least if Howard can stay healthy there is some hope for the future.

BOOM !!!!    what happened with the Lakers last night... Of course being a Mav's fan, I'm biased, and have low expectiations for them {Mav's} this year.   But for one game last night I have hope

Yeah, no kidding.   WTF was THAT???   Never thought I'd say this:  Bring back Bynum!!  OK, just kidding.  A little.  But we have a tendency to panic here in La La Land and last night was supposed to be a gimme without Dirk in the lineup.

Some predicted they are going to win 65-70.  That's already tough now they lost one of the 12/17!

They will be ok.  Need to develop a bit more chemistry.  I'm excited to watch this season.

Actually, most of the talk around town (sports talk) was the opposite, that a 65 game winning season doesn't help a bunch of old guys trying to go into the post season healthy.  They just need to pace themselves to get into the playoffs with a decent seeding.  No one even seemed to care (much) about the 0-8 pre season, given the new chemistry.  But something about being 0-1 officially...

Hack-a-Howard doesn't have the same panache as Hack-a-Shaq

I guess now that Harden is off OKC I can also root for him too. What a way to open his Houston career.
