Western States 100 Lottery

I'm in and already booked (a refundable) hotel room. I'm not even sure I could be ready by June and am also registered for Vineman in July. So I figure those things increase my chances of being drawn and I'll have two entries since I was in last year too. I didn't buy any raffle tickets last year, but am thinking about it. I would almost feel bad not giving it away to someone more deserving though since the entry in transferable. Then there would be the issue of having to run a qualifier in 2013 and none of the races on my radar are on the list.

I put my name in the bucket.  Fingers crossed.

1,700+ lottery entries so far as of 11/13.  Wow.

I'm in. 1 ticket. Figure it's at best a 1/10 shot, probably worse. Would sure be fun though.

Still five more days! Wish they would just draw the names already. No rush I know, but I would really like to get my 2013 year planned out. To run a qualifier again or not if I'm not drawn is the question.

It's like waiting for my new Hokas for christmas, I just can't wait!

Supposed to come in the mail on Thursday but wifey is trying to make me wait until xmas. damnit!

I got the Stinson Tarmac, which I think is the same shoe with a road tred on it. Have only had them for about a month and have put on almost 300 kms on them. I wear them every other day. They take a bit of getting used to but I think it is true what they say, really takes the bite out of those long easy runs.

I also got the Mafate, but haven't taken them out that much yet.

Did anyone from this tread get into WS??

Nope.  Someone my age with my last name got in, but my 7.9% chance just wasn't enough.  Well, now I have 2 chances next year!

Me neither. Looking at qualifiers. Will shoot for <11 hours at Antelope Island 50 and if not probably do the Bear 100.

Sorry and keep trying. As a three time "winner" of the lottery(didn't run one year due to fire)I can say that this race is worth the effort. I enjoyed WS so much that I actually watched a few minutes of the lottery like I was going to be drawn. I wasn't even in the lotto this year. lol

I didn't even enter this year because the races I did were not qualifiers.  2014 I will have all my toes crossed for the lottery though!  2013 qualifiers here I come!  Good luck to everyone at their events leading up to the next lottery.
